Cultural Activities
PETaL EMJMD programme organizes some cultural activities throughout each cohort. The following are some of the most outstanding activities of the 2019-2020 academic year.
Event: Cónsules programme (Cátedra Córdoba Ciudad Mundo)
Date: first semester (from October 2019 to February 2020)
Number of students enrolled: 22
Cónsules is a programme organised at the UCO whose objective is to make the signs of identity of the province of Cordoba known to foreign students during their academic stay at the University of Cordoba (UCO). Through a series of experiences offered by this programme, the students can obtain a comprehensive view of the cultural, historical-patrimonial, economic-business and associative aspects that characterise the territory.
Event: Typical ‛Perol cordobés’ lunch
Date: from 18th October 2019
Number of students enrolled: 24
The coordinators of the PETaL programme in Córdoba invited the group of students to a ‛perol cordobés’ or paella picnic organised at the main University Campus of the UCO ‛Rabanales’. The students could enjoy learning more about the Spanish gastronomy and gaining an insight into the local culture of the city while interacting with their classmates and teachers and, what is more, improving their Spanish.
